The weekend, in some particular order:

-HOT FUZZ. It was incredibly funny. Old people with guns are inherently amusing.
-Brunch at Frontera Grill: I highly recommend it. If you show up just before opening @ 10:30, you can get a seat easily.
-The Books: Really good! Lots of videos! The early show crowd all looked about 12, and both shows were very quiet, well-behaved crowds. Sometimes OTS shows that draw a bunch of people who've not been to the OTS before can be rowdy and rude (see: Bob Mould last year), but this crowd was great.
-The Hopleaf was great, as always. It's good to know that, despite being a lightweight, I can still hold my liquor better than a stick-skinny, just-recently-legal college student. This may not seem like much of an accomplishment, but the kid went to high school in the DC area. It is my understanding that you can drink for class credit there.
-Planning a Guitar Hero afterparty for next weekend, maybe.

Less than great:
-Invitations being returned due to insufficient address.
-People who don't RSVP. (Nevermind my late RSVP to the actual wedding.)
-Not being able to reach my brother on his birthday.
-Store hours on doors LYING TO ME.
-Mr. Z thinks he scared the undergrads. I think they're just afraid of anyone who dates me.
