Fragments of last night's Art Brut show

The show was great fun. Eddie ran around the entire venue (Subterranean) during "Modern Art".

"Don't listen to people in bands. Don't listen to people in bands! DON'T LISTEN TO PEOPLE IN BANDS... unless they're in The Hold Steady or The Mountain Goats." - Eddie Argos of Art Brut, said during "Emily Kane"

We were upstairs, standing behind a cute 40-something couple who just seemed excited to be going out to a show. We explained the Pitchfork Music Fest to them; I also commiserated with the wife about being a slow texter. They left early to relieve their babysitter, so we got their seats at the perch of the upstairs balcony.

From the new seats, I noticed an odd trend. Only about five people (qb'ers) will know what I'm talking about, but I'll go ahead and mention it: there were around ten guys in the audience downstairs that looked like ugly or funny-looking versions of Nolan. I saw Fat Nolan, Fatter Nolan, Fat Nolan with Afro, Nolan with Mullet, Nolan with Goatee, Nolan with Even Bigger Black-Framed Glasses, Nolan with Glasses So Big He Resembled That Old Lady from the Old Navy Commercials. Due to the age restraints, I don't believe Regular Nolan could have been there, so this was all especially disorienting.
