Frienditto
Okay, heard about this from several lj friends now and had never heard of it. Basically it's an archiving site for lj posts, comments, etc and it's causing probs as stooopid peeps are giving it access to everything on their lj by revealing passwords, personal info...etc. From what I can gather, this then gives them access to friends info/comments...etc. Just letting y'all know that I had never heard of it, have never given any info out to anyone and have no intention of using it or posting/archiving anything out of lj so no one on my flist need worry. I talk about my job and some personal stuff on my lj and don't like to think of it getting around but I know nothing is safe so I try to be discreet. I am considering making my lj friends-only soon, even if that doesn't make it completely safe, it might ease some worries I have about the stuff that I do write.
Anyway...jsut passing this on. I tried the frienditto site and it seems that they are having problems....which I think are due to this information being passed around lj that everyone is p***ed about what they do.
