(no subject)
Work has been sooooo CRAZY. I started 10 hour days yesterday. So far, so good. I'm making the promise to myself to work out in the AM so I have energy for the day. So far, so good. I even woke up late this morning, worked out, and wasn't late for work. Gold star for me. I have Friday in my sights. :) The weekend was ok. On Saturday, we ran around getting pressies for all of Tom's sisters and his mom. I did 'mug 'ems' for the sisters. Tom and I wanted to keep the cute mugs we bought. I put in a homemade mix for Mocha Pudding. Looks really good. I say looks because I attempted to make said recipe but I used skim milk which made it turn out runny. Sadness!! Anyway, we found a nice turtle necklace for Carol.
On Sunday, we went to Carol's house for dinner. We picked up Tom's uncle. He's not doing very well. He has Hepatitus C and is dying. I think he wanted to go to say his last goodbyes. Tom is not taking it well. I suspect we will be going to a funeral in the next month or so.
Also, Carol is getting hitched this Tuesday. They are going downtown to a JP. Jr wants to retire but he wants to have all his beneficiary docs updated to include Carol before he does.
