Weekend Smeekend
Wow..that went quick. Monday already. On Saturday, Tom and I went to Best Buy and Barnes & Noble. I am being so picky about books lately. I want something new but nothing has caught my attention. (And it's not like I have lack of bookage at home to read).I think it must be because the last 2 books I have picked up have been duds. Plus how do you follow up Jim Butcher?? I'm now re-reading 'The Dark Mirror' by Juliette Marillier. I'm in the mood for dark and soulful I suppose. Anywho, Kenny changed my oil in the afternoon. The Die Nasty is happier now. I played with Amber's kitties, Mow and Princess, while I waited. They are so big now!! Afterwards, we went home, fixed dinner, and watched a couple movies...'The Holiday' and 'The Woods'. 'The Woods' was...well, weird! But somewhat entertaining. Yesterday, I got up early to go to the grocery store. Then Tom and I had lunch at La Luna and went to see 'Pathfinder'. I really enjoyed this movie. It's a bit gory and somewhat cheesy. But it was just what I was in the mood for. After nagging Tom that we haven't been out to see a movie in many months, it was nice to actually do so. And it was free too as I won tickets through work. Well, have a great week all...
