Updated both Flickr and MechMandelbrot with... four new photos? Same ones on both.
Should be adding three or four more in the next few days, gotten kind of backlogged on pictures so I'm catching up on those rather than doing my homework. Yay!

Newspapers
Unexpected skills taken from job: Ability to identify a newspaper by its page thickness and size.
For the majority of the cages, you use four full sheets of newspaper, which usually fit into the cage trays perfectly height-wise but are too short to completely fill it length-wise. You slide two sheets over to fill this gap. I'm usually opening ( Read more... ) -

Gidget
Gidget is one of the 20-some-odd studio parrots. He's a beautiful bird--full, glossy red feathers interspersed with iridescent blue, plump.
Gidget hates me.
Gidget hates everyone. It's unfortunate, a lot of the birds in there are badly socialized and will bite you as soon as accept food from you, but this fellow--he is evil incarnate.
