OMG - that was tough. W2D1 in the bag but not without a struggle.
Everything about this one from the start to just before I finished my cool down was TOUGH.
I didn't want to get out of bed, which was strange... I was so excited for my run last night.
I got out for my warm up and it was cold. Well, not cold, cold but a little too cold for my tank top and 3/4 pants. Oh well.
Then one the first run leg, I discovered how painfully long 30 seconds could be. The jump between week 1 and 2 is running 60 seconds to running 90 second. That extra half a minute is a killer. In a short sentence - it sucked.
By the fifth of seven runs I didn't think I would make it - I was stuffed.
I pushed on and I made it through all the intervals.
Then with the cooldown walk something strange happened, I almost forgot how crappy and blerg I felt during the run. I'd done it. I'd ticked off another c25k day. It was great.
And I'm still basking in that glow. And I know that glow is going to keep pulling me out of bed every morning. Damn that stupid glow.
PS. On the blister front - I put a blister block on, taped it with athletic tape and that seems to have held it. It seems to be healing but slowly.
