Ever heard the myth that people die in threes? It's a weird myth, but sometimes I wonder about it. I blogged a few weeks ago about my two uncles who died in the car wreck. About a week and a half ago, (I didn't blog it then because there was too much going on) one of my great uncles died. He died from old age and illness I believe. I didn't know him as well as the first two. I ended up only going to the visitation and not to the funeral because of so many time conflicts but I had a dream last night that I did go to the funeral but got up and left half way through. I remember seeing the really nice guy who works at the funeral home kind of looking at me as I was leaving. In my dream (as in real life), he seemed very understanding because I just couldn't deal with being at another funeral. I think I'm more creeped out by death than I originally thought. After the first two uncles died, I remember thinking that I dont' want to see another funeral home or have to go to another funeral. It was only two but they were within a day of each other. Then a week later I'm driving to the funeral home to see my great aunt (who is only in her 50's or so) at her husband's visitation.
