(no subject)
Hello.
The new JM album came out 2 days ago, and of course it's wonderful. I got it at Target, for 9 dollars. Woo. I freaking love it. Andrew is amazing. He's so..intelligent, and his words are just..amazing. He's so deep, and..I was blown away by all of the lyrics. Dude though, when I was looking for the album, it was under 'M'. Like 'Mannequin' is 'Jack's' last name. Dubtef? I had to set them straight. I moved all the JM cds and the Jacks Mannequin tag to the J section. So there, Target.
Anyways, I've been posting a lot in the JM community, and not much at all in here, and I just felt guilty. So now I'm posting in here.
Uhh..After I picked up my CD, Jake & I had an orthodontist appointment. I haven't been wearing my retainers, because they're so annoying, but I wore them on that day, and the people didn't notice at all! Scoreeeee. I should be wearing them though, but oh well. Then we went to this vintage-y store in DC, because that's where my orthodontist is. It was really cool. I liked a lot of the stuff, but I didn't get anything. I didn't do anything the rest of the day, but Kevin, my dad, and our family friend David, who's Kevin's age, went to a baseball game. It was the Nationals vs. Reds. Supposedly, the Nationals lost by 2 or something, but I really don't know anything about baseball. Oh yeah, while they were at the game, I took a nap, and read. Yay, reading. I started/finished reading this book called God Of Beer, and I was really disappointed in it. It kind of sucked. I had to like, make myself read it, I hoped it would get more interesting. OH YEAH, I think I worked out on the elliptical, that my mom got for her birthday. I ran for 20 minutes and burned 121 calories.
Then yesterday we ran errands, went to Taco Bell, then I had Joan (therapist). Cosmo (her dog, a sheltie, freaking adorable) wasn't there, it was sad. I need a picture of him. He doesn't like most people, but he likes meee=] Then we picked up Becca and went to my house. We watched Clueless and worked out. This time, I worked out for 25 minutes, burned 180 calories. Scoreeeeee. We finished Clueless, it was interesting. There was this guy, and from the beginning I thought he might turn out to be gay, and he was gay. I have a really really sharp gay-dar. The brother in the movie, was also pretty good looking. He looked A LOT like Ben Affleck but I don't think it was him. Then I had a quick shower, and then we talked and stuff, and then ate dinner. Then we sucked helium. It WOULD have been fun, but they were the balloons that pop easily, it blew up in my face. Literally. I experienced a near death experience (hah). We videotaped it (like we always do when we have parties & suck helium) and it's pretty damn funny. I love our suckumentaries. So I was getting tired and bitchy so I set up pillows and blankets in the basement. I thought I was tired, but we ended having a really awesome talk from 11:30 to like 2 or 3. Good stuff. So this morning we chilled and ate and played with dogface. Then sat at the kitchen table and I laminated my first semester schedule with tape.
Today, Jake is having Becca and David (a different Becca) come over later today. So I have to read my book..I'm on page 6. I'm reading Demon In The Freezer. It's about anthrax, at least, so far. There's a really gory autopsy, I might have to re-type it in here. Hah..
H'okay, gotta go read before I get sucked into the LJ world (again).
