tick tock

I'm becoming more and more conscious that the products that we have come to rely on for everyday usage, from the detergent to the moisturiser you slap on your body or the chicken you ate for lunch, are.. cancers in the making. Let's look at skincare. Sometimes I'm not even sure if these industries has made up lies to tell us we need Step 1..Step 2.. Step 3 to achieve beautiful skin. So, beauty fanatics will clamour over products and layer them ontop of one another, to achieve what is promised.

Or have we all been sold to the huge lie that keeps fueling these economies? That even 'health experts' we know of today, like dermatologists, would give us the same advice as the corporations who put the labels on the shelves. Wouldn't it be a cycle then? Cycle of conspiracy that leads to false beliefs in the way of life we should live everyday. That the information we absorb everyday has been so strung up with half truths and lies, because of the need to make Money and fulfill short term goals without thinking about future repercussions. I worry if these things they tell us are even Facts in the first place. I worry about those powers around us that put profit before safety, because this will eventually lead to disaster.

Which then lead me to believe that as long the concept of money exists, we can never save ourselves, even with the best of sustainable technology. Prepare to die and suffer, my friends. in the next 50 years. We'll eventually see the thing that we talked about, that 'comes around' when we continue to pour all the stuff they are selling us into our bodies, and into the Earth in this present day. We may think we are invincible now. Slowly and surely, catastrophe will hit us.

The worst thing is that we are aware of this, but we lack the power to do anything of worthwhile change. Even the most well-meaning scientists', engineers, creatives have their will pup-petted by Money. Sad.
