He's not doing so well right now.
He's still very alert, very strong and very curious, as mentioned by a close friend who talked me down off a *very* emotional ledge this evening.
He has, however, lost about 7 or 8 of his 17 pounds in the past year and, over the past four days, hasn't kept anything down. I'm calling the vet first thing tomorrow morning, but I am prepared for the worst case scenario...
