OK, after last semesters shiteous GPA, I actually think I'll be able to turn it around this semester.
I got an A- on my first paper for my law class. Positive feedback overall. Last semester I didn't get A's on any of my papers.
I failed a Hebrew quiz but convinced my prof to let me retake it. Then I got a B+ on my first Hebrew exam. With a bit of tutoring, I can rock this.
I'm in my reporting class right now and we're having one-on-one's with my prof about our first article that we turned in yesterday. I got one of two A's in the class, and during our little meeting she told me that I have real talent as a writer. Mind you, she's really strict and a very knowledgeable journalist in the industry.
Seriously, you don't know how good this makes me feel. I haven't felt this sure of myself since high school when Mr. Barr told me all the time how good my journalism skills were and when I won a journalism award for feature writing from the Contra Costa Times/San Ramon Valley Times.
I'm really not trying to be braggy, I'm just having a good week school-wise.

PS: My mom's advice on apartment hunting - "Do not live in a building that smells like cat piss." Thanks, mom =)
PSS: Happy 21st, T-bag! I'm making you drink even if the health center told you not too, so get ready.
PSSS: You guys rock.
