If you own/moderate/maintain a community on LJ that allows members to post, PLEASE check your community settings.
At some point early this year, LJ instituted a "whitelist" policy in their efforts to combat spam. If a community member attempts to make a post that links to a site that is not whitelisted, the post will be kicked into a moderation queue, even if your community is not set to moderated posting. Community moderators must go into the queue and approve these posts manually.
I ran into this SIX times in the past two days, attempting to post links to my fics hosted on DW and AO3. One or both of those domains is not whitelisted (and I threw a support request at LJ tonight to get them added), because those posts are being kicked automatically. Please, please, please check your comm settings. You may have a VERY full queue if you moderate a fic/fandom comm.
Community management - You will find the list of the communities you moderate at that link. This link will sort them by which communities have posts in the moderation queue.
On the management page, check each comm. Click "settings" for whichever one you're updating. There is a set of three radio buttons under "community moderation". It is entirely possible that the third option is selected. Most comms will want to switch to the first.

While poking at the settings, I located an "add to whitelist for community" section in the community management. Below the cut are the domains LJ has whitelisted. Archiveofourown.org is not on it.

hprarepairs
High hopes for an answer from the first, middling hopes for the second, no hopes at all for the last as the owner has not posted or responded to any comments/questions in four years.
4th ETA, 9 May 2012: The below paragraph is no longer applicable. hprarepairs is under new maintainers and is a responsive comm again.
On that note, does anyone know how to get in touch with the mod for hprarepairs? The emails are bouncing and she hasn't responded to a PM. Looks possible that she's left LJ as she hasn't updated in two years.
