furious
So my class has to do a lab project in groups. We had to do a poster presentation and well the comments for our group from the poster presentation have me fuming.
We substituted avocado for butter in a cake recipe. We started off thinking of doing a chocolate cake but we decided we wanted to see how avocado changed the color so we switched to white cake. One of the comments was the faculty said we could have done chocolate or something to mask the color. Well only 1 of the 4 faculty that came by asked why we didn't do that - so I'm kind of furious that Dr. Kwon didn't say well they chose that or it was okay instead she says the faculty said you coud have done this - hello we chose not to - consciously made the decision and we possibly lost a point for it - excuse me????
Then we may have also gotten points for talking to copresenters who were dietics students. Um, I'm sorry but when were we told we couldn't talk to other students - especially when those students came over to talk to us b/c they were um, right next door. Plus how is it fair criteria to take points off when other students were not put into a similar situation b/c the group wasn't right next to them.
I started an email and stopped - it was only 2.7 points, so not really worth arguing, but I'm just livid.
