evil house
Mom has no luck with the house in Louisiana. She finally got a roofer to put a new roof on the house - we're converting it from a flat roof to a regular pitched roof. Anyway they started work last weekend. Things were going great. This week it was predicted that it would rain on Thursday in New Orleans and the roofer said, can I go in and make sure nothing leaks. So all good right -
Well it rained today. My cousin told my mom that water is flowing into the house through one bedroom closet, the dumb waiter and by the stairs.
I think the roofer should be responsible for any damage and fixing it - they should have made sure it was covered - regardless if they thought it would rain today or not they knew rain was called for this week I hope mom will make them be responsible when she calls tomorrow. of course she won't sleep tonight - I know her too well.
