I was sad that we did not get to go snow tubing this weekend. Ironically, it got snowed out! It actually was not bad with the snow where we were, only getting about 3 inches. However, the Poconos got over a foot so not sure how safe it would have been getting to the mountain. Just thinking about those roads being icy in the mountains was a little scary. Don't want the car going over a cliff! I might have braved it but no one else wanted to so we stayed in and watched lots of TV. Even saw the first episode of Downton Abbey. I am intrigued and will probably keep watching.
I have not yet watched the new episode of The Walking Dead, which is killing me a little because I am afraid of spoilers everywhere. We usually don't watch anything live because commercials are so annoying and time consuming. I just have to hold out until tonight! As my friend Zan said, if they kill Daryl Dixon, we are rioting!
Yesterday we had a nice time hanging out at our friend Steph's place. We ordered pizza and watched The Hunger Games, which is such a good movie that she'd never seen before. She also gave Jeremy a late b-day present, which was an awesome Big Bang Theory shirt with all the characters as super heroes. Good choice!
I seriously think I have become addicted to Walking Dead fanfic. It's like a problem and I keep saying I am not going to look at any on this day and then I always do. My brain just does not want to let it go. It doesn't want to focus on anything else and I feel like I am in a haze. I even brought it up to my doctor and she thinks it is because I am not on the birth control anymore. Apparently, after 16 years of being on it, my brain does not like not having that daily dose of hormones. She sent me for bloodwork but said it could take like 2 weeks until she gets back with results (which is totally her delay because I know that bloodwork for hormone levels only takes like 2 days but whatever. Nothing I can do about it).
Geez, even now I am thinking about going over to the fanfic archive to see what might be new. Ugh! I gotta work on paperwork and I am sure you know which is more appealing.
