This is... Intense, to say the least. I love how you described this. It's full of love and careful planning and willingness from both sides. It's something mutually desirable. I also like how Ukitake takes responsibility and unties Shuuhei, even when Shuu is too caught up in the experience to see that is necessary.
To me, this is what bondage should really be about. It's about willingly handing over control to your partner and, for a moment, feeling like you have nothing in the world to worry about but him. On the other side it's about taking that trust, that huge gift, and making sure it's treated well. To take care of the one bound and be responsible for both of your pleasure.
I've said it before and I'll say it again but... There's way too little of it.

Same here! It is that absolute trust on one side and the responsibility on the other that is so important, and also makes an act like that so powerful. I have some experience of bondage from real life (both sides), and the bigger impact is on the psychological level a lot of the time, rather than the purely physical. I try to always write with that in mind. :)
