"I'm going to blindfold you," Ukitake said and Shuuhei blinked with surprise. "Is that all right?"
"Yeah, okay," Shuuhei replied, even more curious about where this was going to lead.
"Close your eyes." Ukitake wrapped the black silk scarf around Shuuhei's head, covering his eyes, several times. He made certain that it wasn't too tight, but Shuuhei noticed that he also made sure that he couldn't see anything. Not even the faintest glimmer of light reached him when he tried opening his eyes under the blindfold.

Ukitake took one of the candles near the bed and held it high above Shuuhei's chest.
"Don't move now," he warned. "Just experience it."
Shuuhei nodded, and Ukitake tilted the candle, letting a few drops of the melted wax drip.
The reaction was almost immediate. As soon as the drops had landed on Shuuhei's skin, he twitched and gasped.
"Wha-- What are you doing?" He reached up to pull the blindfold off, but Ukitake caught his wrist.
"Wait," Ukitake said softly and pulled Shuuhei's hand down to rest on the bed again. "How did it feel?"
Shuuhei was silent for a moment, thinking, feeling. "It was so quick. It hurt, I think. But..."
"Does it hurt now?"
"No. It... stings a little. No, it's fading too."
"Ready for more?"
"Yeah," Shuuhei replied and licked his lips a little nervously.
"Relax, Hisagi-kun. You're safe."
Shuuhei laughed a little, but did relax. "I know."
Ukitake waited a moment before letting another few drops of wax drip down. This time, he moved the candle so that there was a row of little splashes of wax cooling and hardening on Shuuhei's stomach. This time, Shuuhei moaned.
"It hurts first," he whispered. "But then it just feels so good. More?"
Ukitake put the candle away to lean down to kiss Shuuhei instead. Shuuhei started first, but his lips parted eagerly, and Ukitake slipped his tongue between Shuuhei's teeth, teasing a little.
