Marathon Day

I am not thrilled with today.  Not only to I hate Wednesdays to begin with... but today is going to last FOREVER.

I have all 6 classes (which isn't different from any other day 'cept Tuesday).  We also have a facutly meeting after school.  Last month our faculty meeting was an hour, and she commented that it would be a short one.  Seriously?!  An hour long is short?!  I'm used to meetings by Steve which are like 30mins max, and that's with random sexual comments by some of the teachers (I know... such comments from teachers in a school?  I was weirded out too).  Todays meeting is the safety/United Way meeting.  That's probably the only thing I hate about being at CHES, everything else I just dislike strongly :-P

Mark Wood is at AHS tonight too.  If you don't know (why would you actually?)  Mark Wood was the lead violinist for the Transiberian Orchestra.  Now, he goes around the country doing workshops with different schools.  It's actually a lot of fun.  My 5th graders at CSES got to participate 3 years ago for the workshop and the big concert at the end.  It was a LOT of fun.  I think I had more fun than the kids did :)  So I really want to go to the concert.  Especially since my former students are in 6-8 gradde, and I there are kids in 9th that I've worked with too.  We'll see.  It depends on how late this stupid faculty meeting lasts.  I still need to head to the grocery store tonight.  After today, I have nothing for lunch!
