Update on life...

I can't tell if I'm overwhelmed or underwhelmed, so we'll just leave it at whelmed.  I have All-County Chorus next week and the girls aren't ready.  We have our rehearsal again next Wednesday and then the large group rehearsal next Friday all day.  The songs are difficult, it's just getting them to sing their part w/o worrying about the other parts.  One girl didn't show up to our rehearsal yesterday afternoon because she "made an executive decision" (as quoted by her father in the e-mail he sent me) and decided to go home to take care of her mom [or something like that].

Spring Break was good.  I went to CT last Friday (got there about 12:05am).  I got to see Auntie Patty, Robyn and the kids, Jena (and meet Kaylee), and Heather.  Heather asked me to be in her wedding :) and I'm excited!  Which means I'll be in CT quite a bit.  So excited :D

I finally got to meet Addie (Rett and Diana's little girl).  I haven't seen Rett and Di since Labor Day and never saw the baby (she's 6mths old!).  I got to hold her and got my pants covered in pieces of sugar cone.  They're trying to convince me to move to Lynchburg at the end of this school year, and I have to say it's working.  Diana wants us to start having kids and I want to live with Aaron.  I've looked into jobs other than teaching.  Liberty University has a lot of staff positions open (secretaries and such), so I might apply there, and Wells Fargo/Wachoiva has a few teller positions open.  I know it's not teaching, but there are NO jobs for that at the moment.  Nothing at all.  I look at least once a week and with the economy the way it is, it won't be happening for a few years.  So I figure I'll work somewhere else, teach private lessons and work on my Master's degree.  That way, when I do find something they have to give me more money and I can also apply at colleges.

Poor Lou has to give up his puppy.  His apartment complex doesn't allow dogs, and he was the idiot that went and bought a puppy.  He asked me if I wanted to take him (it's a Jack Russell named Luigi), but I don't know.  I think I might tell him if he can't find anyone else I'll take him.  It'd be nice to have some company, but at the same time, if I move to Lynchburg, we'd need to find an apartment that allows 2dogs.  (And I found a couple!)

Not much else has been happening.  I'm debating Grad School this summer, and really need to get off my ass and e-mail Dr. H and talk to her about it.  Deadline is May 1st.

OH, I need to posts pictures of Jethro, my parent's puppy.  He's already 62lbs and only 6mths.  Poor baby's going to be big!
