(no subject)
I'm home sick again today. 2nd day in a row, and I have a feeling I might be home sick again tomorrow. Went to the Dr yesterday, I have antoher sinus infection. The 2nd one in less than six months. I feel much better than I did over the weekend, but I'm just exhausted. I'm not sure if I have the energy to teach tomorrow. I think this time around, I have every single one of the stupid symptoms including exhaustion and aching teeth. My entire top row of teeth aches... stupid sinuses.
The only good thing about being off these 2 days? I've been watching the V marathon on SyFy. I know, I'm a dork, but I've always loved the 80's mini-series and then series. Since the new series starts up again tonight, they've been showing all the episodes. I missed a few by going to the Dr's and then to school yesterday, but I've caught almost all of them :) Target had the complete series on DVD for $13.99, so I bought it. Now I don't have to wait for SyFy to show them to watch. Now, if only I can get the mini-series...
Well my birthday was last week and I'm officially 25. Jane's whole Kindergarten class made me cards, a 4th grader made me a card and a few of my 5th grade boys in Linda's class made me cards. Mom & Dad sent me flowers and balloons shaped like a cake and it was all in all a really good day. Much better than I expected it to be. Aaron came up this weekend and I got my b-day presents. He bought me a music box made out of metal and shaped like a church to add to my collection. It plays Amazing Grace and when you wind it up, the doors open and a little man moved forward holding a bible. It's so cool! Then he got me a movie on Titanic *secret obsession* and Molly got me Amhal and the Night Visitors on DVD. Mom T gave me the next book in the Mysterious Benedict Society series.
Lou sent me an email Thursday morning wishing me happy birthday from China. I didn't think I'd hear from him until they got back *which was Sunday night*. I can't wait to see him :) I hope they had a great time!
Maybe I'll take a nap. I haven't been able to sleep for more than a few hours at a time the past few nights. That's another thing that isn't helping me get better. Spring Break in just a few days! I can make it
