so next time i'm in cleveland, i was thinking i would try to make meatloaf for my dad--he likes it and it's versatile.
i've never made meatloaf. i'm looking at recipes and all the ones i am finding have a glaze of catsup or bbq sauce or something like that. i specifically liked my mother's meatloaf because it did not have a glaze, and i am certain that she made it that way because that's what my father preferred.
does anyone have a recipe for meatloaf that doesn't have a glaze? any thoughts about what would happen if i made a standard meat loaf recipe and simply left the glaze off?
