Turning 19 soon!
We visited the grandparents today. Too bad my barbecue was cold. My bratwurst wasn't though, thank God. My birthday is in three days! I hope people post on my Facebook wall; it'd let me know I was loved, hehe. I asked Piotr to come see me next week for my birthday, did I tell you that? He said, quote "we shall see." He claims he has a paper due on Thursday. I'll buy it, since he's a James Madison sophomore. I do hope he'll find time to visit me though, it'd make my birthday that much better. I bought a birthday headband thingie that says "Happy Birthday" in gold letters across some feather-like stuff. It's quite cute.
It's official; I'm getting myself an iPod tomorrow! The new one, 20GB, $299.99. Lots of money yeah, but I think my mom is gonna pay in installments. I can't WAIT! I'm so excited, I've been wanting that iPod for a while. It's gonna be so cool being able to store a ton of songs and listen to them all on one device. No more CD player, which is gonna be awesome. There'll probably be a charger for the iPod, but it's better than lugging all those CDs around. My mom said I could get rid of the CDs once I put the songs on the iPod, but I dunno if I'm gonna do that. I think I might sell some of the CDs that I'm impartial to. My Simple Plan CD I'm keeping, my Avril Lavigne CD I'm keeping. I want to keep my Incubus CD as well. I'll sell The Calling CD (I forget the name of it), and I can sell my Alien Ant Farm CD. I wonder where I could sell it to. I should find a used CD store in the East Lansing area.
