Another Boss is Gone...
Well it happened. It wasn't all that unexpected, but not so soon.
My boss of almost 3 years has been 'released'. Actually, they gave him a decent package and an option of either resigning or letting Administration 'dissolve' the position he currently has (Vice Director).
We suggested he let them 'dissolve' the position that way it's a lay-off and he'll be eligible for unemployment on top of his severance package.
So my average here in the 6 years I've been employed with this place is one Director per year. The new Director is really nice, but we'll see how long she's here... Our jobs are safe for the time being. It's a new adjustment we have to endure and the headache of explaining (or trying to) what happened to our old boss. Ugh!
