Happy Halloween!

Well, it's all Hallow's eve and it's been rather quiet.  It helps that I also live in an apartment building with a locked gate to keep the ghoulies out. It's a quiet evening and I had my share of 'dressing up' this morning from a short, but fun ALC training ride.

The TRL crew:

I did a quick 20 minute makeup job for my zombie look:

It was a short, but sweet ride.  We got lots of compliments on our outfits.  I also managed to get a flat along the way so, like a good TRL, we had a quick impromptu training on fixing a flat.  Luckily it was my front tire and it was a small puncture flat, no major blowouts like last time.

So next Saturday will be my ride to Balboa Island and back.  A good paced 35 miler that I'm sure some of the ALC veterans will appreciate as it's a faster pace.

I'm off...
