OK, so, this is a little ridiculous.
the layout in my kitchen is a bitch. at least for doing dishes.
the counter is a nice, long one, running around one corner, punctuated on one side by the stove.
and right SMACK in the corner is the sink.
it's in such a position that you physically cannot put a dish drainer tray under a dishrack and have it get all the water into the sink. so, inevitably, when you wash dishes, water gets all over the counter.
and, of course, all over me.
i'm extremely frustrated by the fact that i have to shower AFTER I DO DISHES in order to feel clean. and god forbid i should be clothed when washing dishes. Ha.
so, needless to say, i'm pissed, and i'm in a bit of a bind. oh_chris has an idea on how to build one, but i can't believe i'm the only human being in the world with this situation.
does anyone know of a place that would sell a dishrack and tray that is angled/tapered for corner-placed sinks?
