(no subject)
While yesterday was the equivalent of a critical failure (see oh_chris's most recent post), today seems to be looking up.
We managed to score a copy of Super Smash Bros. Brawl at Best Buy (our second option - the video game store was sold out). We also found the jelly beans I've been looking for for YEARS but haven't been able to get other than from my folks. I'm not a fan of most of the jelly beans you find this time of year; the Life Savers ones are OK, but most of them are either too sugary, not fruity, too weird, or just plain crap. These ones, though, are WONDERFUL. Fruity but not too sweet, and the purple ones are just right! YAY!
Anyway. Now we just need to figure out what to do about dinner, and then all will be right with the world. I'm leaning toward On the Border, even though I really want steak, because I'm trying to convince Mr. O to get me steak tomorrow night.
Oh, yeah. Since we both have the time off anyway because we were supposed to be in Florida, he's taking me to Atlantic City tomorrow. We scored a room at Caesar's for $109. I think we both might be a little too excited, but we've both been wanting to go back for quite some time. We've never stayed in a casino hotel room before, so it's kind of new. Plus we both really like caesar's anyway -- it's got blue neon in the lobby, and it's really pretty.
