i am in need of imagery help

I need a good "half-assed" or "kludge" picture -- something that makes it obvious that whatever this image is doing is totally not what it was designed to do, but was forced. A square peg, if you will.

I also need a good image that evokes the same sensation as a kitchen explosion. It can be a chef with a burned face (which matches that image), or whatever. It's the sensation I'm looking for -- something that someone tried and it backfired.

If it's possible, I'd love to achieve something along the lines of a half-built robot running away or something equally humorous and half-completed.

I may also need a good image of Superman.

These images are for a presentation I'm doing. Basically, I'm trying to explain to people why we're moving from one test method to another. And the half-assed method (which I'm describing in one slide) backfires easily (covered in another slide), and is capable of performing with only a small proportion of the active ingredient in the test (also in a separate slide). And then I'm going to talk about the new method. It's been requested that I cut back on the words and put in a few more pictures. While I'm also developing several graphics for descriptive purposes, I'd like to have a few images that just evoke a message.

I also need to have the presentation done in two weeks. Can anyone help? I'm ... not good at this.
