also apparently Jun will just randomly crash over at Shun's. For no reason at all.

Alphabet meme: H, I, U, W are the only letters remaining, although apparently d/t me being absentminded as usual I have double entries on some of them.

Emo: Less so than yesterday but oh my God, Japan, why do you put Watanuki Kimihiro unironically in a seifuku and then make Doumeki carry him around princess-style? ._______. I'm going to be over here refusing to talk to you. And where is the Kamen Rider fanarts? .____.

Since I haven't talked about knitting for at least thirty seconds -- I'm on row 21 of 28 of the first chart of Seraphim (kit_sakurazuka was uh, understandably startled by my reaction to discovering that I had done like, I think seven repeats of "Decrease, pm, YO, knit 10" as "Decrease, pm, sail obliviously on" -- which doesn't sound like much but every flipping repeat is twelve stitches long. Fortunately I had put in a save point the row below, but there was weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth, not mention foul language, as I ripped out 84 stitches and redid the sons of bitches. LESSON: Do not knit lace at eleven pm when you woke up at five in the morning) and live in hope of getting the rest of it done by my weekend, where it gets into serious charts where every row is different. Then I have to uhhhh finally get started on the mystery shawl ._. which might end up being on hold while I decide if I'm going to use the handspun (which I have about two hundred yards of) or the cobweb weight or what. And on Clementine! Which i need to finish spinning for.

I'm also just over half-done with the first leg of Spring Forward, which turns out to be really fast to knit, partly because the lace stretches out the length and partly because it's interesting. I think I'm going to do three full repeats of the pattern (ah, according to Ravelry I am not the only one) and then do the heel and foot. Definitely a good project to take on a trip, but not so much good TV knitting because of me having to watch how I do the actual lace rows. The pattern's easy to remember and you would just have to carry a reminder of how to set up the foot and heel. (I think I'm going to send these to Tari, since the thing I was trying to make for her ended in tears and refusal to ever look at the beastly thing ever again. WATERLOO THY NAME IS APPARENTLY COLORWORK.) They would go even faster if I was doing these Magic-Loop, I think, but I don't have a 2mm circ and it's still pretty quick on the double-pointed needles. Also I keep peering suspiciously at the instructions for Magic-Loop heels and wondering if they're kidding me.

I like to call it my little suicide prevention program. It would be so lame to leave all these half-finished projects behind me for someone to sit around and finish and tell sad stories about. (Ditto half my fics, come to think of it. I love you guys but I can think of like two, no, wait, four people I would trust to finish the hooker fic for me.) And then I would have to use all my yarn and stuff first because man, how unlucky would it be for people to inherit that. (Also, awwwkward. "Oh, that's pretty!" "Er.... my friend kind of ... and then her sister sort of ...." "...." "We call the colorway CALL THE DOCTOR, IDIOT now.") Plus I would have to get things more or less organized and tape up a box of all the yaoi manga and lock all the questionable files on the computer, and Amy would be really pissed off and have to come down and sort out my files and books for people, and really by that point, as Dorothy Parker so eloquently remarks, you might as well live.

FINAL mix for HanaDan very, very cute. According to nyonyo, someone's Stupid Bandmates are appearing in a prologue to the movie in the HanaDan FINAL SP. This, she says gleefully, I have totally got to see.

knitting, boybands are awesome, seraphim, black humor = coping, arashi
