Forgot to mention that last night, in the midst of being allergic (there are crunchy things on my eyelashes) and working on the Baby Shopping Bag --- no, seriously, you know how you go over to the store and all you really want is a stupid drink and possibly something that is not chicken and you think, I should be an Environmentally Responsible Person and Not Use A Disposable Bag and you realize you have one ten gallon Trader Joe's bag in the car and the shopping bags littering the store suggestively are nearly as big? and you're like, I don't want to use one of those for a stupid Pepsi and a single tray of freaking sushi? It looks retarded, I would rather use an Evil Disposable Bag and it's one more mark against Our Earth? I am finally getting around to making a small shopping bag, that will fit in a purse and just carry a Sobe LifeWater and an apple and a tray of sushi or something and dangles neatly over one wrist. The prototype is working out fairly well, although I should have made it either longer or wider. Never mind, I have a bunch of Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece and the next one will be better. I have an idea that a sock toe would work for the bottom. Where was I? oh right.
Anyway, as I was being a ball of allergies and knitting, a slight miracle happened and I found a fic that I rather liked that was not made by someone on my f-list! I too was shocked and surprised, because I try to make sure I have everybody that writes fic I like already on my f-list. It makes me happy and lessens nasty shocks and not reading stuff I want to read when it comes out.
Immersion Therapy by polydora, in which Aiba hugs Jun whether he likes it or not and there is a lot of Jun and Nino's pure, pure love, and by that I mean: Nino discreetly says something terribly unkind under his breath, which makes Ohno laugh out loud very indiscreetly and it's not like Jun can even kick Nino to make him shut up because the last time he tried that was the time that the Popolo readers found out that Jun has stuffed toys named after the other members and he can't kick Leader because it's not his fault Nino's an ass.
(By the way, if you ever are curious about what I read -- besides stuff from the f-list -- check the del.icio.us thing. God, I love that site. Although I'm sure someone's thinking right now about how unsurprised they are that it's all JE RPS and knitting patterns. Shut up.

Spring Knitty is out! They have a pattern named Jaden. That may be a polite suggestion from the universe about making it, although the thought of making an entire sweater out of sport weight cotton yarn has my hands sending up a pre-emptive nasty note. (I'm thinking Shine Sport if I do make it -- or hell, maybe Cotton Fine.)
