So Crysi and I are talking about CLAMP and somehow or another we start writing CLAMP Dear Abby letters.
So!
These are the ones we came up with. The person(s) who correctly guesses the most and / or poses one in the comments that I can't figure out gets a drabble. (The Dear Abby letters for me to guess DO NOT have to be CLAMP, just a series I know.)
Ready? GO!
Comments will be SCREENED to give people a chance to guess. (I'll reply to the ones given to me so other people can read and guess them.) Post your guesses within the next twenty-four hours.
1. Dear Abby, I have a boy that I like, but recently he let himself be half-blinded in my place. I feel very angry that he'd do this, because I don't want to be protected at his expense, but I don't think he'll understand this. What should I say to him?
2. Dear Abby, This boy I know keeps trying to crucify me on broken bits of buildings. Does this mean he likes me?
3. Dear Abby, Is it polite to promise to saw off someone's testicles with a dull butterknife if they hurt your brother?
4. Dear Abby, There's a girl I like but there's another boy at school who seems to be interested in her. Should I rip his head off and be done with it?
5. Dear Abby, I know that a group of heroines are trying to save the world, but I'd really rather be dead and gone. Unfortunately, the existence of the world is predicated on my being here, alive. Is it selfish of me to try to get around them?
6. Dear Abby, I've fallen in love with one of my students and her cousin hates me. Should I try to forget the girl I love or run far away before her cousin manages to murder me?
7. Dear Abby, I'm involved with a much older woman, but lately I've felt attracted to my best friend. While my lover would likely forgive me due to my youth, my best friend is in something resembling a committed relationship. In addition, I think he knows that I feel for him. Should I approach my best friend about this or stay quiet and in the background?
8. Dear Abby, The girl I love has lost her memory and I'm trying to help her get it back. Is it proper for us to be travelling together? We have three companions with us but I can't help but feel that her brother is going to string me up by my toenails when we get home.
9. Dear Abby, My Darling love seems to be pushing me away all the time. I can tell that he loves me and wants me to be close to him, but he acts the exact opposite way. Is there some way I can coax him out of his shell? (Also, thank you for reprinting that excellent brownie recipe. They're a great hit, here.)
10. Dear Abby, My boyfriend keeps making up stories. HOW CAN I GET HIM TO STOP?
11. Dear Abby, Is there a tactful way to ask what gender a person you like is?
12. Dear Abby, I recently encountered someone I never met before who tells me we used to be in love in a past life. While I think that he's telling the truth, because I love him too, I'm not quite sure how to break the news to the people I know in /this/ life. What can you suggest to me?
13. Dear Abby, How do you tactfully explain you don't want to live with someone because of their homocidal jealousy, and you've got a much nicer companion now?
14. Dear Abby, My best friend is falling in love with a teacher at school. I don't like him. How do I warn her he's up to something?
15. Dear Abby, My roommate drags me out of bed each morning in a really uncomfortable way somehow, and when we go to work, he's always bugging me. How can I make him stop bullying me?
16. Dear Abby, My Master and I were like brother and sister, but now I'm developing different feelings for him. However, he's still a bit underage, despite his genius. Should I wait to say something to him, or should I grab the moment?
17. Dear Abby, I'm a mentor to a young girl, and therefore I follow her around...ah, go places with her often. How do I get people to stop pointing at me and saying that I'm a pervert?
18. Dear Abby, Is there a tactful way to suggest to someone his parents may be a little unbalanced? He loves them very much, though.
