school stuff
My PI (Principle Investigator) took us (all, 2 of us) out to lunch yesterday as a holiday celebration. It was nice, except some of the veggies and meats weren't very fresh. Luckily, there were enough fresh tasting dishes that I still left very full.. with leftovers to boot. So, I now have enough food to not have to cook for a couple days.. although I ate a day's worth already.. it was yummy! :) Need to cook rice though.
Anyway, I thought I'd share my fortune from the fortune cookie. Not much of a fortune, but general advice to keep in mind: "Keep your eye on the prize but your feet on the ground"
For other news: school's ending soon.. just one presentation, one paper, and one take home test to go till vacation arrives! Need to talk to one of my Pis about staying in their lab.
