A relaxing day
So I made it safe and sound to Taiwan.
Got my ass on a three hour bus that dropped me off in front of a department store at 1 in the morning and, after minor finagaling, hooked up with Matt.
He put me on the back of his scooter with my very out cute pink brain bucket and we wre off through the near abandoned streets of Taichung.
He and I went for food, I had a beer, and we ended up chatting until 5:00 AM or so ... it was good to see him again after so long.
Slept in this morning for the first time in weeks ... got almost 9 hours last night!! Woot!! I then had the laziest day in a long time. I watched two movies ... uploaded pictures from my camera ... used the net for a few minutes and just generally had a down day. It was good for me.
There is some talk of us going to a bar that is playing some soul music of some type. We will see.
Tomorrow the three of us head off for Taipei where I might get to see some Taiwanese Ultimate Frisbee (my first real time seeing it ... Lauren will be so pleased) and then we are going to have some fun on the town. Like Matt says ... "a good time. but not too good a time." *grin*
