I watched today's Tour stage live this morning. Through no fault of his own, Lance crashed twice and got stopped by someone else's crash a third time, and it was clear way before the stage was over that he was going to lose a lot of time. UCI Votes to Ban RadiosWe're talking all road racing, including the Tour de France. And they seem hella out of touch--they act like they think the teams want this. So, the Tour de France started Saturday, and so far they've had an individual time trial, a team time trial, and two crazy awesome flat stages. Armstrong is in 2nd place, 0.22 seconds from the Yellow Jersey, Fabian Cancellara. (And Cancellara isn't a mountain guy, so he'll probably lose it when they hit the Pyrenees ( Read more... )
