My Korean academy dropped the Tues/Thurs/every-other-Friday class I was taking because only two of us were left. So my choices were to take the daily class, which is a bit brutal, or drop the class entirely. I decided to drop it. I was planning to drop it in Jan/Feb anyway because I will be teaching winter intensives, and then going on vacation in February. But I wanted to keep going for one more month, because I know that the amount of Korean I lose in three months is heartbreaking, and seeing my language partner once a week just isn't enough, despite her extreme awesomeness.

My mood, relatedly, has gotten much better since I started sleeping more. My CEO is still being ridiculous (he asked me to change my vacation, which was the only reason I re-signed for six months) but I am trying to ignore him. It is also easier to get all the extra work done within working hours when I have slept a lot. So there's that.

Tomorrow I am going to put up my Christmas tree, and Sunday David and I are going snowboarding.

Winter, let's forget the past and start over.
