For the past few days, I have felt much more like myself.
Today it is 11 degrees Celsius, which is 52 Fahrenheit, and SUNNY, so after my study session with Jiyoung, I walked all the way home from Gangnam Station, sandals on, jacket unzipped, scarf rolled up in my bag.
Also, I gave up eating baked goods as meal replacements for Lent, and feel a zillion times better now that I've cut my refined sugar intake to about 10% of what it was last week.
Today my next-door neighbor, Jenny, is moving to another academy. So, no neighbor for me. Alas.
Today I also bought a pizza pan, cookie cutters, and a casserole dish set, after some rather mangled Korean discussion with not one, not two, but THREE helpful ladies in the EMart kitchen section. We all laughed a lot.
There are a zillion kids in the playground again. Also, there are signs in tons of stores declaring "spring has come!" which I now know in both English and Korean.
Today I shall also make lasagna and tomorrow I plan to go ice skating.
