Hmmmmm

I am still not sure if I am ready to be back here. There has been a whirlwind of bonding and workshops, so I don't have much time to process, though probably that is a good thing. Someone invited me to a movie yesterday, "Hedwig and the Angry Inch" or some such title, but it was just too extreme Smith for me to see just yet. It's two different ( Read more... )

Toenail clippers are a vastly important and much overlooked piece of college equipment. I needs some, too, but I usually make do with regular nail clippers which make me contort into all sorts of interesting poses to trim all my toenails, and the clipped pieces go flying. I'm surprised I haven't taken out someone's eye, which is a disturbing image.

Bleh. I feel I have been lax in my livejournal-answering...ness. I haven't been online a lot, either. My brother and my mother and I frequently get into wrestling matches over the computer, which my father referees by screaming "KNOCK IT OFF!!" from the bedroom (or the living room, or the kitchen). They are both black belts, but I am a brown belt and a fencer, so the matches are fairly even. I have the bruises to prove it. Violent people, my family. ^_^

I hope you're doing alright in Smith. I'm so glad that I have yet to be caught in the "lesbian issues" that play out on my campus. Of course, my friends have plenty of issues all by themselves.

Chris went to the prom with Jill? How did we miss talking about that?

I love your family, especially your brother.

I suggest you buy some toenail clippers. I use them for both my toenails and my fingernails, which is vastly more effective. Though I just bought a multipack with fingernail clippers, toenail clippers, and tweezers. So now I have everything I could possibly need. Except laundry detergent.

Yes, Chris went to the prom with Jill. I know this because I did her hair. And Jean, John, and I had our own little prom. we wore dresses and suits, and I made everyone corsages out of irises, and Jean played the dance music and I made hors d'oeuvres and my mom took pictures. MUCH more fun than the actual prom, let me assure you. But I think Chris and Jill had some fun too.
