One may be suprised when you learn how many papers, organizations and departments want a history of conflift when there is unrest in a region. It's good business for me, but very bad news in general. Dr. Gibbons and Dr. Paul gave an intense lecture on the Israeli-Arab situatioon. I knew most of what they were lecturing, but learned many details about the economic role the EU, Russia and China plays in the Middle East. The chances of WWIII are the highest since the end of the Cold War, but I wouldn't worry too much. Expect Israel to make demands and Hezbollah and Hamas to lay low for a while. The chance of a military draft? That is probably not going to happen, but a few sanctions and deals may trigger a large scale war. College grads go to OCS, so at least I would get better rations and not have to pay for my clothes. lol.
