Ok so a lot of my friends are this weekend doing something cool and going to see Bill Bailey! I'm sure there is a lot of excitement there too! Sadly my excitement comes from the fact that I've booked tickets for myself and my mum (she's 50 next March so this is her birthday present) to go and see... wait for it

That John Barrowman thing is very exciting - where are you seeing him?

I'm also looking forward to seeing you - twice! - next month, it's been sooooo very long since we last had a good natter :) We'll talk details on the emails.

Re job: you have been dealt a raw deal with the two jobs you've had, but it can - and will - get better from here. I know you're the biz at law, it's just a matter of finding the right thing for you; it may take a bit of time, but I know it's out there. And you never know, this job might mutate into something better. When I get my PhD I'll have to spend several years doing crappy jobs until something permanent comes along, but I know it will eventually, and I know that something good will come your way, too. *HUGS*
