I need to update more. This is one of those boring, listy entries.
Last weekend was really good. On Friday Damian came down for the weekend. We went around town and shopped on division/devonshire street/west street, and had lunch at
East One Noodle Bar at West One.
Later that night, we met up with Jim and then went to Offbeat. Offbeat was really fun, although I was rather drunk.
On Saturday I slept in all day with a hangover, then Damian and I went to Meadowhall about an hour before the shops shut. We ended up eating at Potters Bar and Grill, (which was shit) and when we came out everywhere was shut. We then went to see Burn After Reading at the cinema. It was a good, funny film and I really enjoyed it.
On Sunday, my parents took Damian and me for a drive into Derbyshire. We went to Castleton and Bakewell. Castleton was really pretty, and it made me want it to be Christmas soon. I bought
Ian McEwan - The Innocent at
Hawkridge Books and then we had some lovely food at
The Bulls Head. I had vension steak which was gorgeous (after they replaced it when I complained about it being over cooked - I'm such a critic).
We then went to Bakewell, and looked around the shops. I bought another deer figure from a Charity Shop and The Flying Pickets - Only You 12" single from a record fair in a church hall. Damian and I shared a Bakewell Pudding for erm..pudding too.
Damian went home that night, and this week has been quite shit.
Yesterday was good though. I met up with my Support Worker (I'll do a post all about that soon) in the morning, then did a bit of envelope stuffing at my mum's work. I met up with Jim at midday and we did lots of things including triple shot coffees in Starbucks, shopping, picking up photos, looking at exhibitions and eating lunch with Mog at the Devonshire Cat. I bought
The Dancer With The Bruised Knees by Kate and Anna McGarrigle on vinyl at
Rare And Racy .
I also fell flat on my face outside a Sheffield Uni building and have a badly bruised knee. I am an embarassment.
Tonight is about drinking coke and watching telly.
