Renewed Tabs Are Fun...
So today I went to renew my tabs, because they expired on 8/18. So we get there and they ask if I have my previous registration. I pull it out of my handy blue folder that holds all my car stuff. I hand it over to the clerk who looks at me dumbfounded and says "did you not put this on your license?" She was pointing at the stick that I should have put on my license last year when I renewed. I laughed and said "guess not!" So, apparently, I had driven for 1 freakin' year without putting my tabs on my license. The only thing I can think of is that cops can tell if you have up to date registration when they pull up your plates. I say that because I have seen cops behind me and I swear that they were scanning my plate. So anyways, I almost asked the clerk why I bother to renew my tabs, but then I would have gotten pulled over...
