OOC: Mod post: New player and new characters
Hey all--first of all: we're in the middle of adding some new characters (and welcoming a new player) to our Special menagerie (teehee). Not all the LJs and SNs have been made yet for these new characters, so bear with us while we (and by "we" I mean Mandy) update the Admin Console. For those who may not know---on the left side of the community home page, there's a link called "New player package." That'll take you to another page with some links, one of them being to the Instant Friends List and Instant Buddy List, which has all the characters' friends and buddy lists for LJ and AIM. As soon as we get the new characters' SNs and LJs, we'll be able to update that, and thus you'll be able to update your lists as well--even if you already have most everyone friended or think you do, I'd recommend re-doing the LJ f-list part-it takes about a minute and I'm betting many of you haven't updated your list since we've had some people leave the game and join the game.
That being said, first of all I'd like to welcome Nicole braintrustkid to the game! She's new to both the game and to LJ. She will be playing Dr. George Huang. Friend her character journal dr_huang_fbi and add her to your AIM Buddy Lists-- Dr Huang FBI.
Next, I forgot to mention this the other day (sorry, again, Em). Emily iluvroadrunner6 (aka Riley Toth, Nina Cassady and Caroline Parker) is now playing Detective Danny Messer (from the show CSI: NY), who will be with SVU. Friend the character journal detdannymesser and add DannyMesserSVU to your AIM Buddy lists.
Two other new characters:
Skittles defy_n_gravity (aka Megan Wheeler) will now be playing Defense Attorney Larry Paul (from the show Ally McBeal).
Mindy makeitstopjamie (aka Jack McCoy, Brian Peluso and Val Lanier) will now be playing CSU photographer Claire Fisher (from the show Six Feet Under).
Their LJ names and AIM SNs will follow, along with the updated Admin Console. If you're setting up your new character journal, I'd wait till we have the admin console list updated before doing it.
