A Day in the Life

(Reposted because I've written about every single character on all the L&O shows, and you wanted a different perspective)
Fresh from the dryer, my colors strong, I am fluffed and fragrant...until SHE comes in. After throughly drenching herself in what she terms "the shower," I am put through a rigorous maneuver (not all of it unpleasant) which leaves me limp and hanging.
Then the worst happens. HE enters. Noting my water logged condition, HE decides to skip the "shower" and instead opts for a shave. Various expletives accompany this process and I am used to blot blood droplets, until, satisfied, he unceremoniously balls me up and throws me in the chute, where I recline until the washer claims me again.
They refer to themselves as "detectives," whatever that is, but I wish they'd learn to use more than one towel.
