“What makes you think you have the right to have a say in her treatment, Mikey?”
“She’s my mom too Bobby. I love her just as much as you do!”
“Really? Then where’ve you been all these years? Show me the phone records where you called her everyday, even when she didn’t make any sense or she called you the enemy. Bring me a witness to your visits to her. Show me the birthday presents and mother’s day cards you sent her. Love’s not about saying it Mikey, it’s about what you do.”
“It’s not a competition either.”
“Michael is that you sweetheart?”
“Sure it is, one I always lose.”
