Ok, sorry for the two CVS posts in a row, but I'm just so excited to have stumbled onto this way of shopping and saving.
So far, I have gone 4 times. Yeah, in two days. Excessive, I know. Tim's starting to say I'm obsessed. But since that original $2.95 I spent, I haven't spent another penny out-of-pocket. I just use my ECBs from last time, and plan ahead to try and grow them for next time.
The second trip, my total was $0.00, and my reciept says I saved $106.96 on that trip. I left with $17.99 ECBs to use on the next trip. The third trip, my total was $0.00, my reciept says I saved $13.13 on that trip, but I left with $24.99 ECBs to use next time. The fourth trip, my total was $0.00, my reciept says I saved $12.99 on that trip, and I left with $31.99 ECBs for next time. How awesome is that? $181.54 worth of stuff for only my original $2.95.
Some of the things I won't need right away (like two extra toothbrushes when we all got new ones at Christmas) and the SoyJoy bars, which I never would have bought if they didn't end up being free. But we will use them, and they allowed me to earn future bucks to use on things we do need (like Tim's Neutrogena shampoo and toilet paper I need to go buy tomorrow). The only thing I bought that I know I won't use is a glucose monitor, but a friend of mine works at a senior home, and she said they could definitely use it, so I'll be donating it to her.
Anyways, other than that, things around here are pretty much the same. Autumn caught a pretty bad head cold, and she's feeling pretty crummy right now. I hope it's the cold we all had a couple of weeks ago, instead of something we're going to catch from her after just getting over the cold we all had a couple of weeks ago.
I have a new recipe, Spinach Meatballs, in the oven, and they smell great. I'm gonna go check on them now. Hope everyone is doing well!
