Kalahari was a blast. It was great to get away and have fun together. We missed Zoe, but we saw a lot of people with toddlers Zoe's age there and we were glad we didn't bring her. She's just too young to be able to enjoy it. We've decided that we'll try to go back every winter, so next year we'll take Zoe along, but leave the new baby with Grandma and Grandpa.
I realized this weekend just how out of shape I am. I knew I was, but it really hit me when I tried keeping up with Autumn and Tim. Part of it is that my body is the size of a full term pregnant woman's. But a lot of it is my weight. So hopefully when I have this baby, I can drop some weight and get into better shape and keep up with them next year.
The resort was very nice. It was african themed, and there was even a baby lion cub that you could be photographed with (but at $27 for a 5x7, we passed on that). The room was nice, and the waterpark was amazing. So many things to do there. On the first day, Autumn was a little timid about the water slides, she went on the kiddie ones and mostly played in the lazy river, a river you just float along in an inflatable tube, and the pool and the hot tub. But on day two, she was more brave, and went on all 6 slides with Tim, some of them multiple times. Pregnant women weren't permitted on the slides, so I had an excuse to relax while they were doing the thrilling stuff. They also both went on the Flow Rider, which I got video of. Here are the few pics and videos I got. I wasn't able to take more because I didn't want to have the camera out too much with all the water. And I wasn't about to be photographed in my swim suit with wet hair, so as usual there are none of me. :)

In our room, Tim told Autumn she could jump on the bed, which I wasn't approving of, but didn't see any harm in.
Here she is doing a free fall...

Tim on the Flow Rider. He did very well, it's hard enough to stay on the boogie board, let alone roll over and get up on your knees like he did. He was very proud of himself.

And lastly, Autumn and then Tim coming off of one of the water slides.
