Yes, far and away the best we've seen this season. Absolutely. The lightheartedness was an excellent change of pace - I really feel like this is where "Glee" needs to stay. The actors have the chops for drama, but the writers don't. (At least not the drama they want to do and still have it not be a cable show)
I loved the baby Glee kids, but really despised the end mash-up. I understand what they were trying to do with the songs, but I don't think it meshed. It was like trying to put "The Thong Song" together with "I Could Have Danced All Night." Which is a shame, because I wouldn't mind hearing the Glee club just do "Umbrella" but I doubt we'll hear that now.
Ugh, yes, I hate Gwyneth too. her GOOP nonsense is ridiculous. But yes, it was a very conflicted hour, where I was all set to mock her, and then I was all, "Wait, you're kind of the best thing to happen to this show." I think it's because she didn't take it too seriously.
This is the first Glee episode of the season where I'm seriously considering watching it again.
Yes, the first time I didn't think, "Damn, I wish that was a season finale so I could get a break."
