I should probably adhere to my lists...
This is basically for my own reference, but here's the stuff I need to get done within the next 3 weeks:
Things I HAVE to Do
* Order cellphone(s) for Japan
* Email hostels with new debit card info
* Call credit card companies to let them know I'm going out of the country
* Go to the bank!!
* Pay car insurance ~_~
* Advance-pay for June and July's car insurance
* Get mom birthday present(s)
Things I SHOULD Do
* Clean my room
* Put away laundry >_>;;
* Wash my car
* Get oil change
* Study Japanese ...orz
Umm... I think that's it (for now). I'd say that's manageable. Most of it doesn't take more than a few minutes, really.
I keep having these dreams lately where I get in a rush to go to the airport and something goes wrong. Last night, the terminal where my connecting flight was in Chicago was 10 miles away from where I arrived, and I had to take a taxi (to the tune of about $80... because it was an expensive Dream Taxi XD;; ) to get there.
Then, when I got there the lady at the baggage counter told me my carry-on was 3lbs overweight (even though it was very light) and I had to put some stuff into my checked baggage. I remembered then that I hadn't even packed my luggage. For some reason, I had let Cinnamon do it for me. So when I opened up my bag, it was all full of underwear and socks! I fervently hoped I had actual clothes in my checked baggage.
Anyway, I have these dreams about going to the airport, but I never actually get to where I'm going! That's sort of frustrating. I hope that's not some sort of subconscious foreshadowing... But I'm sure it'll be fine. ^_^
This post was totally random. Does anyone know how to rip a DVD to a computer? Does it require the use of some 3rd party software? And does it take forever? I would like to know this.
