Ok, so we're in the home stretch. I had my final for Art History today. After much discussion with my peers in my studio this week, the consensus seems to be that I need to "paint like i draw." My teachers all agree that they like my drawings better than my paintings. One teacher went so far as to say that my drawings "have an elegance she has yet to see in my paintings..." Go drawings. But since I'm not taking any ( Read more... )

Yay! My paper is done! That was about as painless as removing a big fat splinter.

My teacher for Figure Painting won't be in tomorrow. Bryony will be monitoring class... I'm not sure how that will go.

This morning I was feeling SO MUCH BETTER! I went to class, early, even! Was there before most of teh class, and got to sit there thinking, gee, what am I doing here so early?
