(no subject)
So today the two men setting up our Student Show are debating putting another piece of mine in the show. It's a dress i made out of wrapping paper. We'll see. They don't really have room for it, so I suspect it'll be a no-go. But I'm pleased that my teacher felt it was show-worthy.
I'm tired today. I've been working really hard on the dress (it's a full sized wedding dress-- rather heavy) plus I have been running all over the school getting stuff ready for the show. They have pushed the opening to Monday evening-- it was supposed to be tonight-- but apparently, the teachers who were supposed to help set up, didn't. Mr John Pompetti is going nuts, that i can tell you. lol. I have been trying to help, but he "sent me away" while he and Moe Brooker decide what to do with my piece. I should go up soon and find out if he wants me to take it away. I won't be disappointed if it doesn't make it-- I have another piece in the show, after all-- I just don't feel like hauling the monstrosity back to my room. blah.
